PURPOSE

this m-file returns only the path to which the file belongs

SYNOPSIS

function path = pathname(fl)

DESCRIPTION

 this m-file returns only the path to which the file belongs 
 
 ARGUMENTS
     fl      ...   complete file name as string.

 RETURNS
     path   ...   path of file
